Two minutes of talking about Proxy Servers eh ? This will take awhile. So hello class of about 6 peoples my name is ... well you should know it by now if not then you just made me sad. Proxy Servers are ... err umm eee (can you see I am stalling for time ?) is well a server that goes between computers that filters out certain things.
Anonymous Proxy Servers - Filters out your own IP address and replaces it with a substitute one. This lets you look on the internet without your IP being sent out. As a slight downside it will take longer to load a page since your will be going from computer > server > computer over computer > computer.

Glossary of Terms

HTML - Hypertext Markup Language, language that webpages are made of.
HTTP - Hypertext Transfer Protocol, Rules used to carry requests around the www.
ISP - Internent Service Provider, The guys and gals that call fourth the powers to give you access to the interwebs.
Hyperlink - Also known as "Clicky" links they send you to another webpage.
NAT - Network Address Translation,
Virus - Attack on your computer that can destory data, hardware or track information and send it back to the creator. Incase of a virus attack in your distract do not panic use an anti virus and wipe it out.
