Introduction to one of the biggest security risks.
The average user is probably one of the biggest threats to a computer out there without knowledge of using anti virus, firewall and other things to protect it the computer itself is very wide open.
I will be looking at how they can be a risk and what they can do to protect their computer as well as making simple things to raise awareness on the topic of interweb security.
Is the router open and free to use by anyone ?
Do you have anti virus, firewalls and anti spyware installed ?
Are they set up correctly ?
Do you keep your browser up to date with the latest version ?
Are you mindful of what links you click ?
Do you watch what emails you view ?
Do you give out personal details without checking if its safe to do so ?
These are some of the questions I will post on in this report.
